In 2000, Mears and Metro Underground were subsequently acquired by Quanta Services, a publicly traded company on the NYSE and one of the world's largest utilities service providers.

By 2006, Mr. Bosch had the entrepreneurial itch again leading him to create Mid America Underground, L.L.C., an HDD services provider to the Americas head-quartered in Aurora, IL. Currently, Mid America Underground, under Mr. Bosch, owns and operates 15 HDD machines with up to 500,000 pound pullback.
